Royal Wave Park artificial saltwater lake complex sets a world record

On April 29th, the artificial wave sea complex, Royal Wave Park, located within the Vinhomes Ocean Park 2 urban area, was officially recognized by the Guinness World Records as the "Largest artificial saltwater wave complex within an urban area in the world."

The record certification ceremony took place during the opening night of the Light Capital Square and the welcoming summer events in the 1,200-hectare coastal urban super complex, Vinhomes.

In addition to the world above record, the leaders of the Vietnamese Record Organization also presented two Vietnamese accolades to the Royal Wave Park: "The largest artificial wave pool in Vietnam" and "The largest artificial saltwater lake in Vietnam," known as Laguna.

The Royal Wave Park, an artificial wave complex, is a part of the Vinhomes Ocean Park 2 urban area. The complex consists of six artificial wave pools with a total area of 5.4 hectares, featuring waves that can reach a height of 2.8 meters. It also includes a 15-meter high waterfall, a 30-meter artificial mountain, and Sandy Park, a sandy park spanning over 1 hectare with meticulously filtered and transported white sand from Nha Trang, creating a high-end resort-like atmosphere. Additionally, there is a 9.3-hectare artificial saltwater lagoon called Laguna. The overall project forms an 18-hectare artificial wave park.

Surrounding the Royal Wave Park is a perfect landscape inspired by famous structures worldwide, creating a coastal urban area like no other in the Northern region. Thousands of fine sand, meeting cleanliness standards, were brought from Nha Trang for land reclamation. The park's seawater is naturally saline, beneficial for human health, and environmentally friendly. The salinity level is estimated to be balanced, similar to the artificial lake at Vinhomes Crystal Lagoons.

The Royal Wave Park is a prominent feature of the Vinhomes Ocean Park 2 project and a new destination in the eastern part of the capital city. It serves as a venue for world-class artistic performances along the artificial coastline.
